My new online class, “Triggering Poetic Inspiration,” is now open for registration at The Loft Literary Center (Minneapolis). The class begins Feb. 18 and runs for 8 weeks. In this class, we will be working through Richard Hugo’s slim volume on poetry writing, The Triggering Town. Each week we will read one (very short) chapter, discuss what we read, and write a poem with a prompt inspired by the chapter.
